Individual Projects

Arts Assist offers individual grants to support the artistic development of Wyndham residents or highly committed non-professional artists whose work enriches Wyndham’s cultural life and positively celebrates the Wyndham community.

Maximum grant amount: $2,500 per applicant

Eligible projects or activities

  • Production of new works of art (in any art form), particularly works that enrich Wyndham’s cultural life and positively celebrate the Wyndham community
  • An artistic or residency program or master class of repute, or training with recognized professional artists
  • Participation in a regional, interstate or overseas competition, audition, conference or exhibition or other such opportunities
  • Update or purchase specialist equipment in order to undertake arts and cultural activities at an accepted standard relevant to their level of arts or cultural practice

Eligible applicants

Applicants must be practicing artists (emerging or professional) working in any art form:

  • Visual artists or photographers
  • Writers (literature, screen or scriptwriting)
  • Film, television, video or new media makers
  • Performing artists (musicians, dramaturges, actors or dancers)
  • Indigenous, heritage or community cultural or arts workers, educators or custodians
  • Designers and crafters
